Feast of Tabernacles

A Congregation of the Church of God meets every year at the Tanner Amphitheatre in Springdale, Utah which is surrounded by the beautiful Zion National Park. Zion is an ancient Hebrew word meaning a place of refuge or sanctuary. Protected within the park's 229 square miles is a dramatic landscape of sculptured canyons and soaring cliffs. Zion is located at the junction of the Colorado Plateau, Great Basin and Mojave Desert provinces. This unique geography and the variety of life zones within the park make Zion a significant place in the United States.

What is the Feast of Tabernacles?

The Feast of Tabernacles pictures Christ returning to earth in power to crush Satan's end-time attempt to subjugate the world. Saints from all ages will be resurrected, or if alive, changed to immortality. For the first time in history, man will be totally at one with his Creator. Satan will then be bound for a thousand years, and his evil, destructive influence will be totally cut off while Jesus Christ will gloriously reign as King over the entire earth! For more information about the Feast of Tabernacles and other subjects please visit our Literature Library.

We invite you to come celebrate the 2007 Feast of Tabernacles with us and to explore the majestic and awe-inspiring creation of the Almighty God! The Feast of Tabernacles will be held this year from October 26th to November 2nd. To view the other Annual Holy Day Festivals or church happenings please visit our Calendar of Events page.

The pages located in the Extended Navigation box to your left give you the opportunity to check out the weather, view an interactive map, read about the Amphitheatre or look at Zion photos.
